Walking Photo Tours and Street Photography Workshops in NYC

Group Street Photography Workshops

SNYC's Street Photography Workshops are a popular way for visitors to NYC and New Yorkers to learn the techniques and skills of street photography and explore the city.

My group street photography workshops are a popular way for visitors to NYC and New Yorkers to learn the techniques and skills of street photography while exploring one of New York's exciting urban neighborhoods. Workshops are regularly held throughout the year and you'll find the upcoming workshops below. Each neighborhood has different characteristics and we use different styles of shooting and every workshop is different. If you're visiting NYC and there isn't a workshop scheduled for the day you would like to take one, a private tour or photography workshop might be for you! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you require any further information. Gift certificates are available too!

  • Exploring different styles of shooting street photography

  • Choosing camera settings for street

  • All while exploring a culturally rich neighborhood and having fun

This is a 4 hour street photography workshop in Columbus Circle and the Upper West Side and is limited to 5 people. We spend the entire time on the street shooting, discussing and reviewing. No matter your level of experience amateur to professional. All digital cameras are good for the workshop. And film works too!

The workshop runs rain or shine with the exception of extreme weather. Make certain to have fully charged batteries, empty memory cards, wear comfortable shoes and prepare for the weather. You can see some of my recent street photography in the NYC Photo Galleries.
