New York City is fabulous for street photography and the Upper East Side is always rich with opportunities to capture street photography. The world has changed since the pandemic and with it, the way we see and what we see have changed.
In this workshop we will explore how to;
* Use composition to capture better photos
* Explore different styles of shooting street photography
* Choose optimal camera settings for street photography
* Learn techniques to overcome a fear of shooting street
* Practice seeing with new eyes
This is a 4 hour street photography workshop in the Upper East Side and is limited to 3 people. We spend the entire time on the street shooting, discussing and reviewing. No matter what your level of experience is, amateur to professional, there's something for everyone. All digital cameras are good for the workshop. And film works too! We'll stop for coffee and to discuss at some point as well.
This workshop is limited to 3 people and social distancing and proper face covering both the nose and the mouth are required at all times.
The workshop runs rain or shine with the exception of extreme weather. Make certain to have fully charged batteries, empty memory cards, wear comfortable shoes and prepare for the weather. You can see some of my recent street photography in the NYC Photo Galleries.
“I had my first experience with street photography. And nothing better than New York City. Leanne was very knowledgable and patient. She gave very good tips. The best thing was the group was small so there was very one on one interaction.” Rakesh, Sacramento, California You can see more reviews on my workshops and tours.
